University of Texas Office of Facilities Planning and Construction – Arlington, Texas
CMTS was awarded a contract with the University of Texas System to provide Quality Control and Inspection Services for projects at schools throughout the University of Texas System. During out-tenure, CMTS provided the Architectural and Civil QC/Inspection for the University of Texas at Arlington Campus’ new construction of the Chemistry and Physics Building and the University-owned housing complex of Meadow Run Apartments.
Similar services were also being provided for the new construction of the Engineering Complex at the University of Texas at Tyler Campus.
The services included the review of contract documents to become familiar with their intent and ensure proper installation of the work according to the contract documents through on-site inspections including clean room inspection and mechanical systems.
Reports are generated for each site visit and copies of these reports are provided to the Architect/Engineer, Contractor, Project CI and the Office of Facilities Planning and Construction’s Resident Construction Manager for the project.
